What is Conversational Intelligence and Why do we need it?

Conversational Intelligence (C-IQ) is both the innate or hardwired ability and the learnable ability humans possess that enables us to connect, navigate and grow with others — a necessity in building healthier and more resilient organizations in the face of change. Conversational Intelligence measures the level of trust you create with others — and the quality of interactions and conversations that result.

C-IQ enables us to connect, navigate, and grow together! Every human enterprise requires human leadership (versus Dark Leadership) to achieve greater antifragility!

To get to the next level of greatness depends on the quality of our culture, which depends on the quality of our relationships, which depends on the quality of our conversations. Everything happens through conversations!

Conversations are the foundation for healthy relationships, which are the foundation for a healthy culture! Our co-creation maturity and our degrees of connected enable us to achieve greater antifragility!

What is C-IQ important?

Conversational Intelligence is our most powerful human ability for connecting with others and contains the frameworks for facilitating healthy conversations.

When leaders turn to each other to draw out their best thinking and translate that into action, we are exercising Conversational Intelligence.

When leaders engage with others, value their suggestions and inspire new thinking they create a community that looks forward to co-creating a future together.

C-IQ empowers successful companies to become even greater companies, successful leaders to become greater leaders and functioning cultures to thrive.

C-IQ is transformative. It’s independent of position, but highly dependent on the capacity and capability of individuals to build trust through co-creating conversations. When individuals learn and practice the concepts and strategies of C-IQ, the impacts can be felt throughout an organization.

C-IQ is “our most powerful human ability” — which is at the root of successful leadership and successful companies!

C-IQ Certification

A number of individuals connected with one another and Judith E. Glaser to become Certified in Conversational Intelligence (C-IQ) — the first “public” C-IQ Certification.

While each individual’s journey is unique in connecting with Judith and her wisdom, our convergence emphasized the Humanity within Judith’s wisdom and expressed our commitment to advance this wisdom!
